The benefits of practicing mindfulness meditation are no secret. Greater brain integration as a result of meditating contributes to heightened focus and concentration, less negative rumination, and a greater overall sense of well-being. The tricky part for most of us is figuring out how to establish and maintain a practice in our daily lives. This course will help you through that process by looking at differences between formal and informal mindfulness practices, and identifying what that looks like in your life. These are the types of activities you can expect during these sessions:

  • Breath work and pranayama practices to regulate the nervous system
  • Somatic and mindful movement exercises that foster physical awareness, connection, and stability
  • Brain balancing lessons to promote emotional regulation
  • Sensory activities to hone awareness, focus, and feelings of calm
  • Guided meditations and visualizations to shift negative emotions and create greater peace
  • Where: Online
  • Duration: 90-minute sessions for 6 consecutive weeks
